I found the Vaccine Reminder feature on your Website very interesting. My request is that this useful facility may not be restricted to Registered Users, but may be made available to all Visitors, who may like to enter their child's details and take a print-out of the Vaccine schedule. Please consider. Keep up the excellent work in providing India-relevant information for child care.

DIAGNOSTIC DILEMMA:
This month’s diagnostic dilemma: An 8 months old girl with hepatosplenomegaly has repeated serositis, hypodense lesions in the liver and multiple generalized lymphadenopathy. Child has been treated for Tuberculosis but no improvement. What is the differential diagnosis? Read the complete case and answer the dilemma…

Last month’s query of 5 years old boy with recurrent episodes of hematemesis, chronic liver disease, acidosis and hypoglycemia had several replies. Most of the viewers have suggested glycogen storage disorder. One viewer did suggest organic academia. The authors have replied that storage disorder has been ruled out, as biopsy did not show any evidence of storage disease. Also since this child has repeated acidosis with hypoglycemia an underlying organic acidemia/Lactic Acidosis is being suspected and investigations are being carried out on those lines.
