Query: A 1½ year old girl presents with frequent head drops and low grade fever since 2 months. She had measles 2 months back. On examination, she has hypertonia with brisk reflexes. After 3 days, she develops hypertension signs of raised intracranial pressure. What is the diagnosis?
Answer:
SOL most likely in the posterior fossa obstructing the 4 th ventricle. A neuroimaging urgently is required to prove the diagnosis. A CT brain in this child showed a posterior fossa medulloblastoma. Discuss this case further in the section of “DISCUSSION GROUPS”.
