10 month old boy presented with fever, cough and cold since 9 days and progressive breathlessness since 2 days. On examination he was tachypneic with bilateral crepitations He was intubated and required ventilatory support. He was weaned off ventilator after 2 days but continued to have respiratory distress. What is the differential diagnosis?

Last fortnight’s discussion: Authors reply: Post Anti tuberculous therapy, the child was fine and on follow up, the pericardial effusion and ascitis has decreased. Hence we suspected the child had TB polyserositis.
